We saw that in order to manage the permission of visibility of different users you have to modify this with via the Sitemap. Another cool thing we can do to control and monitor better the movement in our website is to create Groups. By grouping people we can monitor who has access to what, but also who will get informed if something change.

For example, for the reviewing process the visitor have to decide a Tradition that they would like to become reviewers. Once they have completed the reviewer contact form they are included in their desired group. The objective here is to collect reviewer for the preprints of our project. So whenever Walter has a new Preprint he desires to expose it to the community we follow this pipeline:

  • Walter uploads a preprint draft pdf to NextCloud and then we update the RevLog Preprints Page;
  • We contact potential peer reviewers for the Arabic Tradition, who have already subscribed as reviewers;
  • Peer reviewers download the preprint draft pdf and review;
  • Peer reviewers send back, by email, a marked-up pdf with comments and corrections;

To manage the Roles you should search User Groups on the search bar on the top right. It is under

Dashboard > Members User Groups
