Installing UNIGE printers on Linux

  1. From this page https://plone.unige.ch/distic/pub/impressions-et-photocopies/comment-installer-les-imprimantes-uniflow-sur-linux-pour-les-collaborateurs-trices-interface-utilisateur download the .ppd file
  2. Go to http://localhost:631/admin/
  3. Add printer ⇒ LPD/LPR Host or Printer
  4. Connection = lpd://padlina@printec.unige.ch/card_system-papat_lnx (change “padlina” with your UNIGE username)
  5. Add the same information as in the UNIGE guide
  6. Check https://wwwi.unige.ch/perso/cartelegPrint/uniflowlecservlet?null&displayType=RQM
